makes 8 well sized rolls
8 plain sausages
1 puff pastry packet
1 small onion / shallot
1 egg
pumpkin seeds
sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 200 with fan, or 220 without.
8 plain sausages | 1 small onion | salt | black pepper | white pepper
Finely dice the onion and remove the skin from the sausages. Mix them together along with salt, black pepper, and plenty of white pepper until the mixture is smooth.
puff pastry
Roll out the puff pastry, and place the sauage filling along the length of the pastry, offset from the middle, so the pastry can fold over neatly. Fold the pastry over and seal with a fork along the edge.
1 egg | pumpkin seeds | sesame seeds
Cut into 8 pieces and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Egg wash the tops and sides, and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds.
Bake for 30 minutes!
