1 tsp pure vanilla extract
115g all purpose flour, sifted
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
icing sugar, for serving

Brown the butter on a saucepan.
2 large eggs | 100g granulated sugar | 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Beat eggs and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix.
115g all purpose flour | 1/2 tsp baking powder | 1/8 tsp salt
Fold in flour, baking powder, and salt. Then fold in the cooled browned butter. Let the batter rest for 30 - 60 minutes.

Brush some melted butter in madeleine pan, then spoon batter in pan.
Bake at 175 with fan for 10 - 12 minutes.
icing sugar, optional | chocolate of choice, optional
Remove from madeleine mould and let cool. Dust with icing sugar. To make a chocolate layer, melt chocolate and dip madeleines in. Then put them back into the moulds with the chocolate side facing down. Set in the fridge.
