for the dumplings;
1/2kg pork shoulder or pork belly
2 tins vietnamese shrimp paste
2 eggs
1 white onion, diced
1 tsp chicken powder
for the soup;
bone broth, optional
1 tin chopped tomato or 8 fresh tomatoes
2 small carrots
woody mushrooms or oyster mushrooms
fish sauce
rice noodles
rice noodles
Soak the noodles.
1/2 pork shoulder or pork belly | 1 white onion, diced | 2 tins vietnamese shrimp paste | 2 eggs | 1 tsp chicken powder
Mince the pork fresh, dice and fry the white onion. Mix all dumpling ingredients together. Season with salt and pepper.

Boil the soup ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Add salt and MSG to taste.
